Hi ! I'm Dana and I am ready to show you how to start a profitable daycare business. I will give you all the tools you need! I have been a daycare owner since 2006 and have extensive experience teaching and nurturing children of all ages - which includes infants. I am also a Special Education teacher, at Grafton School and Richmond Public Schools with three Masters degrees in Special Education, Curriculum Instruction, and Educational Leadership respectively.
I enjoy and have extensive experience nurturing children under my care and helping them develop and learn. As a dedicated and highly dependable daycare owner, I value the importance of a strong foundation that can help my young students blossom. I am currently working on an in-depth preschool curriculum that is designed to encompass individual needs.
With my experience creating and implementing a Life Skills Curriculum for grades 9 to 12 as well as a preschool curriculum, I have a passion for creating plans that can nurture young minds into growing into their true potential.
I won't stop here. Using the lessons I have learned as a daycare instructor, mentor, coach and teacher I keep upgrading my techniques to ensure that my students can keep growing intellectually.
This includes adding Learning Binders to a preschool curriculum that could help preschoolers transition into kindergarten easily. To make such transitions and growth easier, I ensure that parents are involved in their children’s development from the beginning so they are aware of the skills they have learned that can help them in the next grade.
Children can thrive if they are given the appropriate tools and learning environments that can help them develop as individuals with bright futures. As a teacher who has more than a decade’s experience teaching in a range of settings and children from diverse backgrounds, I have what it takes to develop flexible preschool curriculums and manage daycare centers that parents can rely on.
